Nokia Asha 308 and Asha 309

Nokia has unveiled two new budget phones, the Asha 308 and Asha 309, latest addition to Asha touch family. The Asha 308 is a dual sim phone whereas Asha 309 is a single sim phone. For an enhanced browsing experience, these phone are equipped with Nokia Express Browsers, which provides faster access to web pages.

 Both of these phones offer fluid 'swipe' user interface. Both are 2G enabled, featuring a 3 inch WQVGA capacitive display with multiple homescreens, Wi-Fi, radio and up to 32GB expandable memory. Nokia's Easy Swap Technology allows the user to swap a sim card without switching the phone off.

HTC 8S pushed back to mid-end segment

HTC 8S has been pushed to mid-end segment with 512MB RAM and 1GHz S4 dual core SOC. HTC 8S was announced along with HTC 8X.
A 4-inch S-LCD touchscreen with WVGA resolution sits on front protected by Corning Gorilla Glass. The inner part is filled by Snapdragon S4 processor clocked at 1GHz, 4GB internal storage and 512MB RAM. A 5MP snapper with f2.8 aperture sits on the rear of the device, supported by full HD video recording. 

For connectivity, this device uses Bluetooth 2.1+EDR, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n. Compared to its sibling, its a little bit thicker measuring at 10.28mm.

Motorola Razr i

Motorola announces it's Intel based Razr i. This new gadget comes with ICS out of the box and an Intel Atom processor clocked at 2GHz. 

Intel Atom processor is built on the 32nm  manufacturing process and it's a single core version which is powering the new Razr. Atom processor supports hyper threading, so its single core is not an issue.

At the front, Motorola Razr i sits a 4.3-inch Super AMOLED Advanced display of qHD resolution with Gorilla Glass for protection. 

Behind is an 8MP snapper and it can take ten photos in  1 second and at front, a 0.3MP for video calls. The new Razr packs a 2000mAh battery and the phone is fully coated with Kevlar.

OPPO FIND 5

Oppo a Chinese company, not so popular around the world, has made it into headlines recently by unveiling the Oppo Finder, the thinnest smartphone available. Oppo has an even more amazing device coming this year, "Oppo Find 5", which is a 5inch smartphone that might become the first android phone to have a 1080p screen(1920x1080) resolution. Oppo Find 5 has a pixel density of 441ppi, which blows all competition out of the water, even in comparison with the iPhone 5. At this ppi, the pixel density is more detailed than iPhone 5. This new smartphone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Quad-core krait chip and powered by Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. Apple iPhone 5

Apple's new iPhone 5 comes with new A6 chipset which is powerful but not power consuming. The new chipset is built on two ARM Cortex A15 cores and also combined with a quad core GPU. This new chipset is 22% smaller than the previous one but twice as fast. iPhone 5 has 225 hours standby time and also comes with LTE support. It's also light at 112grams and 7.6mm thickness.

Nikon D4 vs Canon 1DX

With the arrival of the new 1DX in Canon pro DSLR series certain changes have been brought. This new changes are now taking the likes of Nikon's D4 pro DSLR. For those who are confused between the two, here's a short overview of differences.

1. The Nikon D4 has a 16.2MP sensor whereas the Canon 1Dx has an 18.1MP sensor.
2. The Auto Focusing of the Canon is better than the Nikon, the Canon focuses faster in servo mode than the Nikon.
3. Faster burst rate, Nikon's D4 has 11 frames per second whereas Canon 1Dx have got an expandable 14fps shooting mode. Canon also maintains fast focusing in this mode as well.
4. Noise, everybody goes to the Nikon side in this one and it has been true. The Nikon maintains the noise ratio in LOW ISO s but at higher ISO s the Canon maintains the details and is better than the Nikon.
5. Nikon's D4 has 51 focus points whereas Canon's 1Dx has 61 focus points out of which 41 are cross type.

Samsung Galaxy Camera

Samsung revealed it's first Galaxy camera series. This new tech, takes clear, colorful images, but is slow and has lots of bugs. Galaxy Camera is an out of the box thinking from Samsung. It combines both the features of a smartphone and a digital camera, but lacks a phone. Specifications on paper is impressive.
The new Galaxy Camera shoots16.3 Megapixel images and has 21x optical zoom, a 4.8 inch display, Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, a 1.4GHz quad core processor, A-GPS, WiFi,3G and 4G. At 21x, the images are clear but shutter lag is significant.
The Galaxy Camera has access to all of the apps in the Google Play store. That means you can share pictures on Twitter, Facebook, Instagram. Each and every features specified would depend on its price. No information about the price is not available.

Photography Tips For Beginners

We have told about the three basic things that a beginner must know, now we are here to give you some photography tips.
Let us start

1. Don’t use a hood, put it away. Pro photographers as seen by all don’t use hoods.
2. When you buy a camera for the first time, you treat it like a baby. Well you might think that we are going to talk rubbish, but beginner dslrs though not weatherproof can withstand most of the obnoxious problems that you may bump into, like dropping it or some sort. Don’t treat you dslr like a baby.
3. Shoot for yourself, not for others. Stop hating others.
4. Pack Light.
5. Use a zoom for convenience.
6. Primes will help you think about that shot.
7. Know how your camera works before going out to shoot.
8. Always be ready for the shot
9. ISO is not that thing to worry about. You can increase the ISO if you want. Noise performance is good in cameras these days.
10. Think about the light , morning and evening lights are perfect. Mid day sun will make everybody squint.
11. Everybody has some creativity, if you start taking photos within that creativity you will only get are some crappy shots. Think outside that creativity  box. Don’t worry if you make some mistakes. You will do better by finding the mistakes.
12. Show only the best. Delete the crappy shots.
13. Follow the rule of thirds. But don’t obey it that strictly.

Nokia 808 PureView

Nokia has promised that its high end camera phone, Nokia 808 PureView will be launched in India first. But they have also mentioned that the reports claiming the price of this phone is a dummy pricing. After all the pre-order price for Nokia 808 was nearly 599EUR or 40,000/- Indian rupees.

Samsung Omnia M unveiled and it's ready to take the likes of Nokia's Lumia 800 and 900. Windows 7.5 Mango and a CPU clocked at 1GHz. Apart from the screen, nothing has been improved in the new Omnia M .
